Lullaby

Ever read the book Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk? It's about a reporter researching a series of sudden unexplained infant deaths. In so doing, he discovers a poem in a children's Anthology that kills the listener whenever recited. In an attempt to destroy every copy of the book, the reporter finds himself tempted to use its supernatural powers to kill people who annoy him. Laced in more of a unique plot line than his previous endeavors, Palahniuk touches on themes such as consumerism, identity, free will, and sensory overload.
